We are pleased to sponsor and support a new community outreach program:
The Teen Poetry Project
Mission: The Teen Poetry Project is an artistic community outreach program that seeks to promote literacy and voice through poetry. We provide young people ongoing support of the desire to reach their creative potential through writing and performing poetry.
The 2007 pilot program included students enrolled in a Palm Beach County High School, aged 15-19 years old. This program seeks to increase opportunities for compassion and learning from one another. Workshops meet each month for three hours, throughout the school year. Transportation is the responsibility of the student.
We invite any eligible student interested in poetry to inquire about becoming part of the Teen Poetry Project.
